Sgt. Scooper Terms of Service
Welcome to Sgt. Scooper. By using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Client Responsibilities
As the client, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining safe access into and out of the yard (if we are unable to clean due to access, you will be charged for that cleanup)
- Immediate notification of any changes in the number of pets
- Prompt payment of balances due
Weather and Service Interruptions
Inclement weather may make it hazardous or impossible to make a scheduled cleanup. In this event, we will be responsible for servicing your yard as soon as possible.
Service Pauses
If for any reason your pet(s) will not be using the yard for a certain period (i.e. vacation, illness, etc.) and you do not wish to be charged for an unnecessary visit(s), please let us know in advance to pause the service.
Liability
We assume no liabilities for damages to yards, gates, pets or other properties.
Fees and Promotions
Fees and Promotions are subject to change at any time. In this rare circumstance, you will be notified at least two (2) weeks prior to any changes.
Payment Terms
For recurring services:
- Billing occurs on the 1st of each month before services are provided
- First cleanup includes initial cleanup fee plus prorated remainder of the month
- Payment is required before your first cleanup of the month
- Services billed for the month are non-refundable
- If you choose to cancel, we will complete cleanups for the remainder of the paid month if needed
Service Scheduling
With respect to scheduling:
- We are unable to provide specific timeframes on your scoop day
- Routes run from around 7am to dark
- You will receive approximately 60 minutes notice via text before arrival
- Your scoop day will remain consistent unless communicated otherwise
Service Guarantee
We will never miss a scoop day. If we do miss your scheduled service (for reasons within our control), you will receive the next month of service free of charge.
Exceptions to our Service Guarantee include:
- Inclement weather that makes it hazardous or impossible to perform the service
- Unsafe dog behavior or conditions that prevent our staff from accessing the yard safely
- Gate or yard access issues not caused by our staff
- Major holidays (as outlined in our holiday policy)
Termination
Either party may terminate service (in writing) at any time. Unpaid balances are due within 15 days.
Agreement
By initiating service, both parties agree to the above terms and responsibilities.
